Gekijou Finished!

Hi all, it's [livejournal.com profile] ruderal_species . Since it's my project, I guess I'm announcing this...

Gekijou: Jose and Carmen is COMPLETE and ready to be ordered. A million thanks to [livejournal.com profile] karin4 for timing, [livejournal.com profile] ekusudei for making the subs pretty and fixing all the accent signs, and [livejournal.com profile] shirabyoshi for her ever-excellent editing. And the rest of the TIP team for putting up with me. As you know, nothing ever gets done if I'm left to myself. ;)

Er, I wasn't supposed to do September update while I was here, was I? *sweat drop*

...I think good things have been happening with scripts for Eire and Never Say Goodbye. I sort of started working on Gaisenmon again, then bolted back into my hole for six more months of Hoshigumi winter.

I think I'll stay there and let other people do the update.

*bolts*

Congrats! Gosh, this has been going for... years, no? :>

Not that I don't appreciate how much work it represents! I just remembered you were working on it a while ago. It's a brilliant show, definitely worth the effort! Yay! :)

Er, yes. *hangs head*

It took me about a year to translate the play script, working on it on the train on the way to and from work.

Then it went through edits from other team members, which took a couple months.

Then it sat in need of timing for a few months.

Then [livejournal.com profile] karin4 saved the day, though timing takes a lot of time, so it still took a few more months to finish.

From announcement to completion it took about 27 months. Looking back, it went pretty fast for one of MY projects. ;)

We can't all be [livejournal.com profile] caithion.

... Though we all of us ought to try a little harder.

We can't all be caithion.

*snort* Because only I am capable of letting a project sit around for four months?

>cough< More because if it were up to anyone else, it would be left for six to twelve months.

Ohh yay! One of my favorite romances completely subbed, <333!

Congratulations, :D!

This is super news! OK, I need to (gently) start harassing / bugging about Gaisenmon again...
